The monthly comp is aflop....we need to promoe it more, rather than announce the theme and forget it. Put the link in the weekly comps etc.

Too much on even for a weekly comp, Christmas time is never good as I think everyone does the monthly comp at the end of the month looking at past comps.

Think it is just a priority thing, I had 2weeks with my son over from OZ and a week in London for Christmas, that's how things go.

I think Jeff makes a good point. Christmas is so busy I'm guessing the comps necessarily a priority for some.
But I agree with Chris, maybe it'd help to promote the comps. This site has a lot of members. When the site first started I didn't know there was a weekly comp
I wonder how many other members don't know, or don't really think about entering??

i wonder if we should put a sticky at the top of every subforum reminding members to check out both competitions? might just jog people's memory enough to boost numbers, and let people know about the comps who might only be popping in to look at the (for example) landscape or equipment forums?
