Nikon 17-55mm f2.8

In my local cash converters in Islington (London) this lens was on sale for £700. Price has dropped from £550 now down to £450. I just tried it on my D7000 this evening and it appears to be OK.

Personally I haven't the cash at the moment and quite frankly don't need one but thought of you guys, as you've all been very helpful in advising me on stuff, if in the event of any of you may find it of interest.

I asked the guy behind the counter if there was anything wrong with it and he said no (of course) but admitted he knew of the value but have found it difficult to sell at such a high price.

It's a cracking lens and at that price a bargain. List is nearly £1,100 but it's a DX rather than a FX lens. Thanks for posting.
