Custom Funtions

I note with interest in this month's Photo Plus magazine "Shoot with a Pro" (Football) that the EOS1D has a built in custom function "Auto Focus /Drive AF Expansion with selected points!. I have a 40D and checked my CF's menu the 40D does not have this CF, are these available to downloaded and added to the menu for other canon models?

I do not know, but probably not. The 1D is a professional level camera with a high price tag, it has to have some things other than just full frame
