Of course a good old fashioned CD or DVD. But then they will have to have a tv/dvd player etc. If they want to see your photos they'll have to put in some effort. I can't suggest anything as I use the internet or physical prints. Just looking at getting a photobook for some work I've just done.

All depends if your serious about showing your PF in a serious way to industry pros & wanting to create the right image of your photos? if so invest in a professional portfolio book for around £50 to £100 that way your create the right impression to those who matter & stand a much better way of getting your work noticed as your PF book is your calling card & it can make you or break you.
Industry pros the majority off want a printed PF & to be able to take out your prints to see them compared to a tablet as the printed form looks better & the images are more clearer to the eye.

But if it`s just to your friends etc then stick with the tablet version for your PF & you could get lucky by showing your PF via tablet as it may impress those who matter by you being different
but if you want to succeed truly then go for a printed PF

Best of luck
