Exclamation Stolen equipment - please read

Please look out for the following Nikon equipment which was stolen from my car in Hatfield, Hertfordshire on Wednesday July 18th. All items were in a blue Jessops shoulder bag along with several other accesories.

Nikon D7000 S/N 6181351
The battery and 2 x 16MB SD cards were installed but the charger and other accesories were not present. A quick release plate from a Slik ball head was also attached.

Nikkor AF-S 16-85 DX ED VR S/N 22178357

Nikkor 12-24 AF-S DX IF ED
Some signs of wear, identifiable by a crack in the window over the focus distance scale.

Nikkor 70-300 AF-S IF ED VR
Near new condition with no identifying marks.

Nikkor 105 f/2.8 AF Micro
This was an early version of the AF lens probably made in the late 1980s and it had a rubber lens hood attached.

All lenses had front and rear caps but no pouches and all but the 12 - 24 had UV filters and lens hoods. The 105 micro was mounted to the camera at the time of the theft.

Nikon SB-800 flash gun
Identifiable by adhesive residue around the top where the previous owner had tried to mount a reflector or diffuser. Also, the lens was somewhat foggy. The diffuser dome was present but the fifth battery cover was not.

If you should find any of this equipment please contact me by replying to this thread.

Also please contact Hertfordshire police on 01707 355001 quoting crime reference B2/12/2567

I would also very much appreciate it if you could circulate this notice to any other relevant forums you may use.

Sorry for cross posting this but I am not sure where it would be most appropriate and of course I want to reach the widest possible audience.

Thanks very much for your help.

Kindest regards,

Jim Dorman
