Thanks for the comments guys.

The settings were just me messing around with the camera and no other reason. This was the third picture with decreasing shutter speeds. To me the first two showed too much detail on the water and so I wanted to soften it out.

I will take on board all comments in relation to composition and settings and see what results I get, I guess it's all about practice and not everyone will like what others like.

Oh, and I need to buy a tripod,

I like it its a very good shot, but I do tend to agree with others about the composition. I think it would have worked so much better with the camera angled a little higher. The light reflecting in the water look really good but the top of the buildings have been sacrificed. Love the shot though
