New to the Forum

Only a member for a short time, still finding my way around, and found this one. Couple of local shots,as most are, don't go far really. Ed.

Hi Ed ,

The one thing that jumps out at me with both your shots is the over processed detail on the swans , the background on both shots looks fine but the swans themselves look as if you have put some kind of photoshop artistic filter on them . It's a real shame because they look like a couple of very nicely exposed and focused shots .

I agree and as advice I would say less is more..Great composition and capture just too much post processing.

Apologies for late thanks, difficulty getting to grips with Forum layout. Appreciate what you say. I have access to a Cartridge, A3 printer, (No paper choice), and print all on this, I find I have to over accentuate a bit to get what I want. I was about to replace the pictures with other alternatives, but realize it would negate your posts. If you wish, PM me, and I will send to you. I am fairly new to digital Photography, but, very old, to Photography! Again, my thanks. Regards. Ed. .
