Ireland long exposure

Here's a shot of lovely Kinsale port in County Cork, taken last weekend with my Canon 40D and Sigma 17-50 f2.8 and Haida ND3 10-stop filter, f8, 10 seconds, using just a Gorrillapod SLR Zoom tripod. C&C welcome

Cheers Graeme

Really like the composition, just feel it looks a bit drained. Slight boost of saturation to bring out the sky/sky reflection might add little zing.

After viewing the high res flicker shot I found the detail a little soft through out the image and I'm not sure if this is down to the 10 stop filter or a bit of movement from the Gorrillapod .
I'm also not sure if using the filter to get a 10 sec exposure has added anything to the image that you couldn't of got with a narrower aperture and probably ended up with a sharper image with a deeper DOF , I know the water would of been smoothed out a bit but with no real movement in the sky or shore line I don't think you have gained much .

Just my thoughts .

Mark
