Late at night, and a rushed entry. Not much of a competitor, but a try at the theme. It was a handheld shot, and as such is not in great focus, but here we go...............

Ok no worries, no time to go looking for a suitable animal and waiting for a shot I can work with so taken a punt.

Am I right in thinking entries are allowed up in till 12:30pm today (monday)... I doubt anyone is on here but I do have my camera in the room and my dog is a big one so I wonder if I can switch the animal head for one of my dog and enter that one? Would help with numbers? I should go bed but as long as dog plays ball it should only take 30mins.

Stock photo removed and placed a photo I taken about 20 mins ago.

The dog didn't like being woken up and me putting my and in his mouth, no idea where he's gone and hid.

Animallistic Kids 2

Ill remove my other entry and place this one in just encase the 12:30pm monday rule isn't one I read somewhere else.

This forum seems quiet lately! - not many voters this week also. (observation)

Congratulations Sabrina, very nice win and well deserved. Great editing to achieve the goal and well within the theme. There was quite alot of choice, and the picture that stood out for me was from DD. But that doesn't mean I did not like yours, as I said it was great.

Ups and downs

UP

Sparky with Swimming in a tank.

Funny pic, made me chuckle. Within theme and great editing, but same with the above comments, and I could only pick one. Well done.

Down

DD and your knight. Got my vote, I thought it was a great shot, very clear and well composed, I like the mix of color and B&W. Shame It did not get some more votes.

I don't think the theme was that difficult in the end, just challenging to come up with a good idea, and of course, finding the time to play!

Regards
John

Thanks to alexharrison101, Jerry WSL, JonnyM, kerbside, LaPistola, Mudcrabmal and SPARKY iow for your vote.

Up: Knight Through The Looking Glass
I liked this picture, like the B&W vs color. This would have had my vote after the Swimming in a Tank.

Down: Animallistic Kids 2
I played with the same concept, putting my dogs head on my sons body. So the idea was cool for me.
The colors and effects didn't do it for me (but that's my taste). For me this is much too busy.

I wil post the new challenge right away, II hope there will be many entries this time Go UK Go (I think a lot of people here live in the UK, unlike myself)
