batteries and chargers

Hi

Can anyone recommend a good (not "fast") 8 way AA battery charger? I have a fast 4 way one but fast is not good for long life and 4 way is too small.

Does anyone have any experience with the eneloop batteries? They are supposed to hold their charge for a long time when not in use.

Everyone I know that uses eneloops (amongst some strobists etc with high usage) talks very highly of them and have recommended them to me. I`ve been using some from 7 day shop - hama - that hold charge well too but will buy eneloops next - they`re sony I think.
Nothing on battery charger I am afraid

eneloop chargers

What sort of charger do you use for eneloop? The normal ni-cad/nhim charger?

If you have many nimh batteries and store them, either regularly charge them to keep them topped up or use a low current charger on charge permanently. I don1t think you can buy a low current charger now, they are all EXPRESS, ULTRA FAST etc.

Have a look at 7dayshop.com

They have a V8 charger for Ni-Mh units

Has anyone tried the charger? Anyone tried the 7datshop own brand batteries?
