Finepix HS20 EXR

Does anyone know if the Fuji Finepix HS20 EXR has a mirror lock up function for use during long exposures, I have had a quick look, but can not find one?

It's an electronic viewfinder so there is no mirror to lock up.

It was something I read that mirror movement can affect the quality of long exposures, I was trying night shots and some had distortion / noise on them. I thought that it could be something I could try, but if it does not have a mirror then I need to look at other options. I have a post running in the critique thread, called night shots! Feel free to take a look and comment.

Cheers, John

What settings do you use? If the camera is on Auto it may be selecting a high ISO. I don't think the smaller sensors on bridge cameras are the best in low light situations but I don't know this particular camera.

Manual settings, normally ISO 100 / 200, 0.25 sec to 2 sec, I have only tried f/3 to f/6, but someone said that it should be higher ??
