Nor me (sorry) Plan C was a disaster and to make matters worst I forgot there was a graveyard down the road which would have been perfect arggggggh!

I am off to pick up a shiny new lens now so the poll will be a little late today (mid afternoon) hope that is okay if anyone else wants to do it then please do otherwise I will do it when I get back.

As numbers are low and there are some great shots this week i am going to pad out the entries with this. Was not going to bother as it is not what i had wanted to do and to be honest, in my opinion not that good.

Just viewed mine on my phone and you can barely see it, far to dark. Opps

And so you should feel great, it was a great shot and was a flip of the coin for me between yours and alexharrison101, who ultimately got my vote.

So ups and downs,

up - Urban Night Scape

La Pistola, I think you had a great idea, but as You have already mentioned, it was a bit too dark which means alot of the space in the image has nothing on it. It was a great attempt and I think if you try again the results would be better. Great attempt.

Down - St mary's Church, Derby

A great shot and had me from the begining, I love the bridge leading to the church with the lights on it, and the fact you did not try to cram too much in to the shot, brilliant effort and a worthy second place.

I was truely inspired by this theme (Thankyou Kerbside), so much so that I went out last night for a couple of hours to try and capture a few of my local landmarks that I knew would be lit up, but the results were not brilliant, I think I still have alot to learn. The main problem is noise on the pictures, when I get chance this evening I will post a couple on the Critique thread and would be grateful if you could all keep your eye open for them and give some feedback, Cheers.

John, Glad that you were inspired, i should of picked a different theme as i was camping in a field at a Dragstrip, not much to take pics of at night along with having a few beers, not good.

Anyway some great pics this week and my vote went to Sabrina, thought this was a great shot, loved it. Competition was close this week making it hard to vote.

up - Bad Moon Rising
Great atmospheric shot Chris, loved the cloud around the moon, surprised this did not poll more votes but as said it was a strong week.

Down - Urban Night Scape
Concept was good but too dark with not enough detail in my humble opinion, i do like a misty moon however.
