Rescue Helicopter

This flew over the beach where we were, and just had the camera to hand.....

The same chopper moments later up against the cliffs, I have played with the image a little and now it looks like a toy village scene......

Like the first one. Great exposure and detail. A bit tight on the crop and as a result lost a bit of the tail rotor. But good photo.
The second one has more interest but not the same clarity.
Just my thoughts.

Thanks,

It was a spur of the moment thing, when I took the first one I was focusing on the man in the door, and hence did not realise the tail rotor was slightly out of shot, my inexperience I think.

The second one was me just messing with pp, and various preset options on some software I have, I thought it looks more like a toy now. But even so the original was not very sharp, the chopper was more in the distance and moving quite fast.

Thanks for looking, and commenting.

John

I came across one of these at Flamborough South Landing a few years ago. Didn't notice they were dropping someone off at the time; I was doing something else for a couple of minutes (probably looking for a better vantage point) and missed the drop.
