Back after a very long break from photography

HI Guys

After a break following a split from the ex wife October, I had to sell my camera gear to help with my new apartment etc..

I have now started buying camera gear again and opted for a lightweight option as I like landscape photography and walking. The camera that I decided on was a Lumix GX1. Its a great camera with better specs than the full sized dslr that I had to sell

Anyone have any suggestions for a Ultralight tripod?

Cheers
John

Dont just read on them, go into a store and handle them, see which one fits you, see which one has controls that make the most sense to you....consider the lens line up..consider what type of photography you want to do....everyone has their opinions on the best camera(s)...but YOU will be the one using whatever it is you wind up with.

This is so true, I did recently buy a Velbon Rexi-L which did not include a head, it is quite pricey but it is a great piece of kit as it is light and very portable, there is a review here. I use this for carrying around with me when I don't want to lug my Manfrotto tripod with me.
