Chris.

Keep on trying, stacking software is not really necessary.

Had half an hour to spare this evening so decided to photograph a refraction. No stacking just the one shot. Not at all happy with it, I've not done one for several years.

Unfortunately I had to use flash as it was getting dark and also fuchsias don't lend themselves to this type of photo, but here's the result.

harry i did fucias too!!!! I tried to angle it so the background was plain or very out of focus, as I thought the fucias in background were distracting, but seeing yours and Jeffs i have changed my mind

Just use a spot healing brush on it, you are bound to get some reflected light.
