Three beautifully taken shots Harry .

Love the impact of the first image with those great eyes , for me the corps hanging from it's beak is a little off putting .
Really nice background on the second shot ,it's just a petty the bird is looking away .
The third shot is a real corker , beautiful .

Great detail, love how the owl looks like it's about to lunge into your camera and is staring straight at you.

Nice shots indeed. Great focus on the eyes.
Love the action of the first and the menace of the third.

Thanks for the comments.

Karen according to the exif (not sure I believe it) the owl was just 1.87m away from the camera at the time of the shot. I'd been tracking it from a distance of approx 15-20 m.
My previous 2 shots did not quite get the desired focus.

These shots are all amazing. The first and third are so powerfull, it makes you feel up close and personal with the birds. I am not so keen on the middle one, just because the bird is looking away, just my personal choice.

Excellent!
