At well over 30% cheaper than WEX, alarm bells ring. I should say that I've never had any problems with stuff I've bought from Hong Kong, but I've never bought a camera from there, either. You won't get a Canon warranty, anything you get will probably entail return to HK. They also add the best part of £100 at checkout, shipping and clearance fees. Caveat Emptor was never more apt.

you could have a look here as they seem reasonable and I have seen a few recommendations on other forums.

I would be careful. Canon will not cover the warranty for those. So I hear anyway. You will probably also get duties and VAT on top when it comes in.

When you look at the add on prices, which i must admit i did not at the time, the link that Alex has given looks better.
I will look into this over the next few days but a 7D is on the cards and keep the 40D as a back up.

Thanks for all the advice

Have a read http://www.birdforum.net/showthread.php?t=170969 It would appear they are OK to deal with, but Canon Cameras appear to be grey imports.
