Trouble buying NPhoto, and no video in digital issues

Hi

I bought issue 2 in a newsstand, great magazine, I asked to buy issue 1, but it was sold out, OK I can buy it in digital format, full price but the link to the videos doesn't work.!?
At the same time I ordered issue 3 in print version, and after 3 weeks I mailed to ask when my magazine will arrive, I was again told the magazine was sold out.! I was asked what I now want, money back or a new magazine, I wrote back that I was surprised that the magazine was sold out, it's still for sale on the homepage.? the answer was the now will send a issue, but the want 28 days to deliver(I got items from China faster than 28 days)
So my question is, are the magazine one big scam?, I am happy that i didn't go for the 13 issues subscription.
I can see from others in this forum, that delivery isn't the best from this company.

Regards

Sounds like the first magazine got delayed in the post. But glad you now have two copies of Issue 3! Did Issue 4 turn up ok?

I get a similar thing with Digital Camera. In Canada it is cheaper to buy it monthly on the news stand than it is to subscribe. It is the only magazine I have ever seen that costs more to subscribe.

Thumbs down Yup - rip-off

I completely agree - I subscribe on my iPad and have purchased every issue since N-Photo launched on a 3 month rolling subscription.

I contacted future publishing to complain and ask for a refund (or at least a complementary issue!) and was told they won't help. I was referred to Apples app store administrators.

Throwing money at the app store seems to be a one-way, no recourse action.

So - in the UK - it costs 3.99 for a single issue and 14.99 for three months ?!?! (IIRC - the store is down so I can't even download my latest mug of a subscriber edition)

I've cancelled my subscription and may well search online for PDF versions (yeah, go on, catch me!) unless this is resolved.

How on earth can a company expect loyalty from a readership if they pull stunts like this - I'll probably acquire enough copies to compensate me for the money they won't refund (the principle is bigger than the value!) then wave goodbye to the whole range of magazines listed at the top of this forum.

such a shame.
