Question photography course London

Hello everyone,

I'm new here and I'm pretty new to the world of photography but I have a huge passion and I'm willing to learn everything i can.

I will be in London during August and September and I just booked a basics course for SLR Photography at the Nilkon school there. I'd love to do a second one but unluckily the Nikon School doesn't offer anything interesting for me during September. Could you suggest me some nice - not too expensive - photography courses in London?

thanks a lot,
ciaoooo

Hi,

London is a big place. No point in suggesting something in Croydon if you're based in Stanmore!

Also, give us some clues on how much you want to spend and what areas of photography you want to cover.

I'll live in the near of Surrey Quays and my university is in Holborn, pretty near to the centre of London.

I can spend max 100£ and I'm interested in people/cities/street photography - I know, pretty large area, let's say NOT Macro, or Landscapes, I'm pretty much a beginner so I didn't find yet my focus, I like to explore the different fields

Hi,

I don't think you're going to get anything worthwhile within your budget.

There are two schools that I know of in Central London:

London School of Photography who do a basic course (I think 4 days) for £300, and Photoion Photography School who do a two day course for about £250. I can't recommend either of them as I haven't attended their courses, but PPS get 29/30 score by their pupils, which is quite impressive.

Good luck

You could look at Groupon & KGB deals. There might not be anything interesting, but then again...
