essential equipment?

ok, i am a beginnner just starting out. canon 1100D, 18-55mm kit lens, tamron 70-300 zoom macro, close-up filters. what equipemtn should be on my birthday/christmas lists??

i'm most interested in macro and wildlife photography, possibly landscape-ish stuff too. not much interest in portraits.

i have a decent bag, but don't know what should be my priority. this may be a stupid question, but i thought i'd ask it anyway!!

Not a stupid question but the list is endless .

ND grad filter kit for landscapes .

Tripod for everything .

Dedicated macro lens .

Wide angle lens .

Spare battery .

Cleaning kit .

Remote timer shutter release .

Monopod .

..........................................

Not to disagree with Mark - I consider most of that list useful, but if you don't know you need it, do you need it? Surely the best idea is to identify the need for something, before getting it & letting it fester in a cupboard.

Just my 2d.

Chris

PS Flashgun, though it's not so useful in your chosen system.

Do not go and get all of that at once. Things change. I never thought I would be doing macro work. However, since I am doing a 366 project (remember, this was a leap year!) I ended up doing a lot of it because I just ran out of things to take a decent photo of in the house after 10 PM!

I agree with what's been said already.
But Iike donoreo says, dont be too hasty. Wait and see where your photography takes you. When. First started out I bought kit that I wanted but have rarely used. Make sure you get the it you really need/want as it's not cheap.

Thanks for all the advice guys. I've been thinking of a tripod as my next investment-prob give me the wider range of options for what I'm looking at getting into.

A good tripod applies to so many uses, it makes sense.

A tripod without a doubt especially as you've indicated you're interested in close-up, wildlife and landscape photography. You've got the camera and lenses, other accessories can wait another day.
