Monitor Problem

My AOC monitor has developed a white line moving left to right continually, across the screen. Anyone heard of this before and know of a fix?

First things first Chris you need to determine if it's the monitor or your graphics card , if you can get hold of another monitor from a friend or neighbour just to plug in and see if you get the same problem .

OK, will see my son tomorrow - he's a Mac expert lol!!! You think it could be the Mac and not the monitor? Been trying to get hold of him all night but since he got married he forgets I exist!!!

I have the exact same problem as you described: a white vertical line, moving from left to right continually. Could you please post more details on how you managed to fix it?
