Power station

I took this photo in the otherevening. There was a rainbow in site but the time i got to take the photo it looked like this making look like strange gasses being realised to me

The rainbow certainly gives the scene an interesting twist , you got quite a good balance of exposure between the sky and foreground did you use a ND grad filter or did you do it in post processing . Perhaps a subtle boost on the levels or curve's would lift the image a little as at the moment it's a touch dull and flat .

Thank you Mark, no i havent got any filters yet... there my next buy. did use PSE10 still getting use to editing afterwards. i am trying my best at minute not to use it as i want to improve my photo techniques

Like your attitude.
Mark makes some good points and it does look a little flat. I'm seeing a bit of noise too.
I would try a crop a bit closer to the tall chimneys and see how that looks. Just my opinion though. Keep up the good work.
