If it was mine, I think I would go for a square photograph without adjusting Oscar but adding more blue above him, especially as he is looking upward ( so it does not look as if he would bang his head at take off if you know what I mean ) - But composition is often personal choice. Well I like it .

It would also look just as good cropping off the bottom, so the wings line runs up / intersects from the bottom righthand corner and just a little cropped off from the top (but so the shortest measure from the head to the top is not shorter than the neck to left hand edge - best way I could describe it).

But as I always say my taste is not everyone elses, so play around until you are happy.
