Chasing Light

Chasing Light

I have been always fascinated in capturing light and land. Chasing light as many would call it. A steady reader of DC Mag, I always find time to buy the magazine in my country to be both inspired and learn things.

I would like to share my work to my fellow DC Mag readers...

DYNAMIC VISTA

GLEAM OF HOPE

I also have a lot of infrared vistas and rural scenes which Id like to share some here...I used to have a thread in the old forum and would like to continue it here.

Infrared has been in the filed of Photography since films days, initally used as a forensic tool, infrared in digital poses a challenge and way of creating a different mood or feel in your photo. May it be via a screw type filter or a converted camera, these are my takes of the unseen light.

For a serious landscape photographer, sunrise and sunset is the magical hour that we wait light to paint land. Mid-day tends to be an idle time and infrared consumes these idle moment making it more productive.

More to come..

Thanks...

About the first week of September, Canon Philippines asked me to test the Canon 7d pre production unit. They wanted to see how it performs in the landscape scene.

Here are some photos, minimally processed. Review can be seen in my flickr and deviantart site.

in infrared using a hoya r72 filter.

thanks.
