None. They're limited to 30min, iirc.

well shoot, thanks. I'm a long-time Nikon user, got a full "F" bag, some great old lens, killer glass, all 35mm. *sigh* Was hoping to be able to use for filming live music at concert & club. Are the lens on the video cameras (Sony/Nikon) quality enough to get great stills? I pretty much shoot for web videos these days.

Actually it's 29min 59secs

Basically it is a limit imposed by Nikon et.al. to get round the import duty imposed on camcorders. The legal definition of a camcorder for tax purposes is a device capable of continuous recording of video for 30mins or more, and is subject to a higher rate of duty than a DSLR.

The limit is obviously a software thing so no doubt it could be hacked if you knew how.
