Montion blur

Just a technique I learned while on holiday last week.

What technique would that be?

I mentioned on one of your previous posts about it being better to insert the image itself into your thread and it's not because I'm trying to be snotty or anything it's because it makes it easier and quicker for people to view the photo and hence more likely they will leave a response on the image rather than a response on your posting technique .

Photo is now there Mark. I have to remember to right-click on the photo and use 'Copy Image Location' to get the link to work.

I prefer the second shot because you can still make out the scene even with the abstract effect of the motion blur , the first image I find a bit too dark and lacking in contrast although I can tell what I'm looking at I think a more open view with less trees may work better .

Yes, the 2nd image is pictorially more pleasing, as Mark says you can still perceive what the secene is and it could be mistaken for an impressionistic watercolour. The first image looks like an "oops I pressed the shutter by mistake" shot. Horses for courses I suppose and it's not a technique that I'm overly keen on.
