it doesn't have to be Jubilee related, think celebrations, parties, rituals anything along those lines. The jubilee just happens to be happening so i thought I'd incorporate it.

DD, i'd have thought your son's wedding is the ideal opportunity to get a entry., can't get much more ceremonial than a wedding!

Was at a wedding reception yesterday, ideal oppertunity to get some good shots, and more than enough presented themselves, especially when the bride and groom were stood cuddling while waching fireworks going off, it would have been an amazing shot...............why do I say would have been.........upon arriving at the venue, suddenly realised the camera was still at home!!! No entry for me this week, sorry.

No we was going to have a family BBQ for my nieces birthday yesterday and go to big country park today which would have some jubliee stuff. Both canceled due to weather so my opportunities are foiled. Not giving up though I have another idea I hope comes off.

Well there is nothing going on here, Jubilee celebrations aren't until Tuesday and only little pockets of town seem to be celebrating that, although the village we are in the process of moving to (he says with everything crossed) are having a proper celebration with all the trimmings such as a hog roast.

I ma having to think out of the box and have an idea provided I can get one or two items

Well mine is entered: Queen Cakes.

The shot didn't turn out as I was hoping but I think I got a nice shot out of it. If nothing else my partner has a new photo to use on her website (shes a cake maker).

Its called Queen Cakes as there in a Jubliee theme being made for the celebration (There for a ritual). There not finished in my shot but I think these make a more interesting photo than the ones I captured when there finished. In fact the finished product I made a right mess creating the background which I had to clean up

OK, I'm in with....

Man & Wife

As most of you know, it was my son's wedding this weekend. All went perfect. They are so beautiful & happy together. I know my image isn't perfect, blown highlights, composition not perfect but hey...I was a mum yesterday not a photographer and this was, after all, just a mum capturing her son's most special day....
