Cool card eject button broke off my Olympus- very serious problem on this model

The card eject button broke off my Olympus FE-140. This is a major problem on that

model as if it breaks off, you get a message that "the card cover is open" & camera

won't work. Could someone tell me how to gerry rig this problem so I can download

my internal memory ? I had no memory card at present. One help desk recommended I

stuff paper in bottom. I tryed that to no avail.
I don't recommend this camera because I only had a couple years before this problem

happened. I really don't recommend any Olympus camera because their support team

said they all have plastic card eject buttons that can break off rather than ones of

sturdier material.
That would be great if someone could help me get around this problem in short run.
Thanks Laura Cleve, OH

If it's the push down type then try about three or four match sticks and push them into the hole, but don't push too hard as they might break. It should trip the switch and allow you to get the images off the camera.
