Cool Newbie

Hi, I am new to this site and I can't tell you how much I have learned already. I have a Nikon D60 with a Nikkor 55-200 mm, Nikkor 18-55mm and a Nikkkor 105mm macro lens. I also have the Nikon Speedlight SB-600 flash.
I still do not know what all of this means as I am on a big learning curve. For Christmas I received the Macro lens as a gift, and I can't wait until I am able to understand this lens and shoot somewhat well. I have posted a couple pictures so far that I have shot. They may not be very good, but I am happy with my progress so far.
I am looking forward to reading all the posts and seeing the galleries of pictures now that I have joined.

Hi Splitegg1 and welcome.

That's a great Christmas present and a cracking lens. You might not know but you can use the Nikon converters with that lens. I've used both the 1.4 and 2x converters with it to great effect.

Welcome,
And good choice with Nikon.
When it works it's great, but as a hobby it can occasionally drive you mad. A bit like golf. Enjoy!!
