Have had my 1st try at this months theme. As soon as my kids saw it, they both remarked (without knowing the theme) that it looked like something from the 70's so it looks like I achieved what i set out to do. Feedback would be appreciated, especially as this is where the monthly differs from the weekend comp. We try, we post, we receive feedback, we improve, re-post etc until we have a lovely perfected image to enter by months end.

So here is my Mini Retro............

Taken outside my house. This is hubbys project , his mini. More a snapshot than a serious image to start with but once i began i saw the potential. Do you think the processing is right?

Personally I think the processing is fine, looks like an old poloroid snap to me.

Good, thats what I was hoping...Really enjoyed doing this, learned loads about layers and will be looking at maybe another couple of subjects to try this on.

I have paid £800 to hire 2 'old' VW campers for my sons wedding. One white, one green. I think a VW camper, taken in the right environment, will make a great subject.

Im hoping to take some 'seaside' shots, just need the right day for it. Pity there's no stripy deck chairs on Roker Beach any more.

OK I'm in.....It's entitled "A Day At The Seaside" and takes me right back to the 70's.......

I really like the lens flare from the sun.
