Smile New Forum Member!
Hi all, my names Rob and after buying a copy of the latest Digital camera Magazine, I thought I would register for the forums!

Bit of a funny one really as I am quite excited to be here (I like photography forums!) but as first impressions go it comes across as a little bit negative. I am not sure what has gone on before I got here with changes to galleries and forums etc but I'm here now and think I shall stick around for a while to see how things pan out!

Anyone know if there is an Android app I can view the forum on (as that would be might handy) and I wondered if anyone had thought about putting a welcome category where people can introduce themselves regardless of what magazine they read on the forums as I couldn't see one anywhere (but I might be being blind!).

So anyhow enough observations, I shall now go muddle my way through the forums and galleries to see what I can find! Look forward to meeting you all and if anyone is from Lancashire get in touch!

Welcome. I do not think there is an app for viewing the forum. All of the ones I know have to have a component installed on the server.

Hi Rob and welcome.
I'm a bit too old to get with these new-fangled gadgets like 'apps', so I can't help you on that one.
There have been some problems recently with big changes in the whole forum resulting in all the galleries being deleted. A lot of members were not happy about that.
Anyway, the dust seems to have settled now. We look forward to your input.

I haven't seen any kind of app for the Android OS but I use my phone to view the site on a standard browser and it works quite well .
