I have the same issue, I'm using IE9.......It is frustrating, especially when you're trying to not to hit the "logged in as" link......

This has been a issue for ages now, since they fixed the "mark forums read" problem. That problem is normally due to someone making a mess of editing the menu tabs.

I can see the css issues you mentioned, in Firefox

And even worse in IE9

Myself, I don't have the problem because I have the forum bookmarked instead of the front page, and I always stay logged in.

Does it in IE8 too. The basic problem is too many menu tabs, in too large a point size. The forum header has 9 tabs, the other pages have 10, and they're bigger text. I hate it when sites are inconsistent in the menus.

Ah, sorry all. When I looked it seemed to be fine but unfortunately the fix hasn't been made. It should have been done today and may still be fixed today, but if not I will chase up on Monday. It is a navigation issue, so we're going to move the 'Beginners' section to a subheading under 'Tutorials', just to give you a heads up on this! Please bare with us and once again sorry for the inconvenience.
