I will probably not use this one, but I was playing around. This is a close up of the centre of a $2 Canadian coin, a "Twoonie". For those that do no know, the $1 coin has a Loon on it, and became known instantly as a Loonie. When the $2 coin came out a few years later, hence Twoonie. There are no plans to replace $5 bills, but we did just introduce plastic bills.

I was scouring the garden for a likely image for the macro weekend when I spotted a juvenile green orb spider.
Unfortunately for me it was in a very difficult position, as I tried to get closer I knocked the leaf with the spider on with my camera lens and my subject disappeared. So just finished up with this not quite in focus image. Still there's always tomorrow  Harry
