Ladybird & Ant

I took these in the garden yesterday...

1.


2. note the little mite/tic thing just about to become lunch


3. The ant was enticed to stay still for the shot with some sugar water

Fantastically detailed shots Cathus , it looks like you got in really close for these shots so I'm hoping that your going to tell me that you use a dedicated macro lens with extension tubes all connected to a DSLR ( aren't you )

yep DSLR and a Canon MP-E 65mm macro and very close up.
