Free HDR programs?

One aspect of many that I want to master in the realms of photography is HDR. I know there are freeware HDR programs out there, but what ones are the best?

Also I use Serif Photoplus X4 which does have its own HDR creation, but it's not that good to be honest......are there any 3rd party plugins that can be used with this?

Thirdly, could someone direct me to a link that teaches HDR?

I know I'm asking a lot but any responce would be much appreciated and gets big respect from me....

Look here for a few Free HDR Programs..............

Luminance HDR seems the best, though it takes some experimentation - I expect you can find regular users online. It used to be called QTPFSGUI.

Taking the images for HDR is the most important part....... most of the answers are here.

Ahh, many thanks! Will have a look at those links and have a go.

I was never a big fan of HDR, but I seen some shots of vehicles that looked cool. Living on a farm, I thought it would be great on Agricultural machinery too.

Many thanks again.
