That is such a cool location. I love the colours, Is that sand or water in the bottom one?

It's heavenly isn't it, Don. Both were taken in the Upper Canyon, which can only be accessed wih a guide. It can get very busy in there and trying to keep the other visitors out of your shot is quite a chalenge, unless you're shooting strainght up.

It is sand as the title suggests. Our guide threw a load up on to the boulder from the canyon floor and we were poised with cameras on tripods and remote releases in hand ready to take a couple then move out of the way for the next batch to have their turn. Worth every minute of the 2.5 hours we spent in there.

Great shots and a fantastic location , I love the colours and the lines in the rocks make it look like an abstract art image .

You're not wrong, Mark and Wotcars. The Upper Canyon is superb, but only accessed with a guide. If you're ever near Page in Arizona, it's definitely worth it. Thank you both.

I have seen photos of this before as well, it is spectacular. You should be pleased with those photos.
