A decent Pano head is very expensive the Manfrotto one are around £400 although you can get the Panosaurus for $100 it does take a lot of setting up as well.

I have taken this...It's my 1st attempt for a pano for the monthly comp. What do you guys think? Does it lack detail? Its 3 photos aligned and blended.

The stitching look good but, yeah, I don't there's enough detail showing in the dark banks of the pond. It's always a compromise whether you expose for the sky or the foreground unless you have an ND grad. Looks like you've got the pano technique sorted though.

I don't have an ND grad so exposed for the sky, as recommended in a few articles I have read..Might it be worth me 'playing' with this some more?

Did this one earlier, it is 6 shots stitched, not too sure about the subject matter but it is a start. Not sure why it is showing so small either.

Deanz,
You need this code to actually show your picture.
