Weldone Donoreo.....what a win to get!

My vote went to Clickingirls "Alien Universe"....what can I say?...I loved it, the colours, the composition.....great piece of photography that deserved more votes.


Above: JimmyOsram: Dreamy Creamy: Nice, textbook abstract. I honestly thought it would pip the the post, it was a close run thing. I like the colours and it really does look like a dream....I may be wrong, but is it a shot of a shuttle/rocket launch?

Below: TwinnieE "Street Art": I see the vision in this shot and the lines and patterns created by the building is great. I admire the fact this a SOOC shot. My only critique is that I found the street light distracting, maybe it couldn't be avoided, but if it wasn't in the frame, I reckon the shot would've attract the votes.

Thanks to all who voted for mine. If you havent already worked it out, my shot is of a bath mat, the light trail was created using a spot light torch waved over said mat. I adjusted slightly using a curves layer, added a "cool lens" filter effect in processing and then added a purple hue layer.

Hello everyone! Thanks to everyone who voted for me and thank you Highlandscenics for the wonderful complement! Congrats Donoreo! Beautiful Photo and a well deserved win! I almost voted for this one but went with JimmyOsram's Dreamy Creamy! I loved that it did have that abstract feel but yet you could still make out the subject! Could totally see this hanging on my wall!

ABOVE: Plasma 2- I really liked this as well. I especially like the way the purple zig zagged through the frame. Very creative and awesome shot!


BELOW: Colours Galore- Great shot and very colorful! Great shot as well!

I think all the submissions were very good and it was hard to pick a favorite! Awesome job everyone!!

Easy Ups and Downs this week.

Above: My vote went to jimmyosram's Dreamy Creamy. Such a cleverly done abstract shot of a landscape. Very nicely put together and great choice of colours.

Below: Great win donoreo, beautiful textures and colour. Certainly a favourite of mine. For some reason an extreme close-up didn't even occur to me :-0

clickin girl's Alien Universe and highlandscenics' Plasma 2 also stood out for me. There were also some really creative ideas, like Wavemachine's camera shake which I'll be trying at some point.
