Well, that's one of the tasks of a father! (Take note Matthew.)
But you did have it badly if you're still not back to normal.
Poll results may cheer you up a bit.

No, I just want to make sure he is aware of the responsibilities, before he thinks about kids!

Don, well done! I knew it was a good abstract, right from the start. Others thought so too. Congratulations.

I won! It is my first win. Even though I was sick, I actually tried various subjects for this. When I took first one of this to test, I knew it looked good. I ended up using this:

I gave my wife tulips for Valentines Day. The photo is a close up of two of the petals as they had expanded while blooming. I used my kit 18-55 lens and a 10x close up filter.

Thanks to everyone who voted for me: alfbranch, Cutter, deena, DigiDiva, markgozz, Reinardina, SieSmith, simjol, wotcars

Now I need to come up with a topic. I have a couple of ideas and will get something later today.

Well done on a great win one of my favorites and very nearly got my vote however Jimmy's shot won me over ever so slightly but it was very close.

Up - Wotcars - Colours Galore

I saw an article on this in last months Photo Plus and very nearly attempted something similar, you did a great job, great colours, nicely set up and great composition as you discovered with close up though CD cases can be pretty scratched and dusty which unfortunately shows in a few places so I reckon a little time in PP will a spot healing brush will clean this shot up well. Great shot though lovely and sharp.

Down - DigiDiva - Demonic

I assume this is a gargoyle, really quite a scary convincing shot this, great processing and angle my only crit is it scared me after all gargoyles are supposed to scare evil spirits away so therefore I must be one

As for me well nillie for a third week in a row seems to go like that sometimes, but so what I can have another go and learn some more eh

Other favourites were clickengirl, Twinnie and Pea24's shot which made me think of Pink Floyd for some reason.

Looking forward to the next challenge.
