all critique appreciated as i need help with moving water

Water looks ok for me, got the movement well,,, although theres not really much foreground interest, Maybe a nice Mossy rock in the foreground, and a low perspective,. But it looks like it could use the contrast pushing up a little bit. (if you have any editing software. And Are you using any type of ND's andy?

Dan is right you need some foreground interest. So as a fisherman I presume you have waders (maybe not) if so get them on and get into the middle of the river camera on trip close to the surface and see what you can get.
For ideas I suggest you lokk for river shots you like and see what people are doing with compositions.

cheers all i havent got any editing software apart from whatevers on windows pic gallery nd only a polarising filter at the minute i need to get one of these nd filters bbut yes alf i do have chest waders

I think you need to crop the top a little to hide the bridge.

Or hang a sunderland shirt from the bridge, that would look fantastic.
