Lone Tree

Well that was a let down. Got up at stupid o'clock to visit Hadrian's Wall to photo the sunrise over a snowy vista.

Well when I got there, no snow and thick fog was rolling in before sunrise, never mind. Managed to catch the early part of the sunrise though and this solitary trre on the remains of Hadrian's Wall.

Lovely!

Made even lovelier by the fact that it isn't a shot of that Hadrian's Wall tree (if you know what I mean! )

Sorry about the lack of snow, Paul - you could have had some of ours!

Great shot by the way.
