Talking Capture NX2

On trying the Capture NX2 software, I found that this program seemed to work better than Adobe Elements and Serif PhotoPlus X4 which I also have, probably due to the product being made by the same manufacturer that made my Nikon DSLR Camera. These software products are a whole lot better than dunking your hands in Developer, Hypo and fixer and dodging and flashing under your Gnome Enlarger when you had a Nikon F3 Camera. I sent to Amazon in the UK but realised that they were completely out of stock. I eventually ordered Nikon Capture NX2 from the USA Amazon and await its arrival soon. Have any other members here had problems getting hold of Nikon Capture NX2?

I got mine from Greys of Westminster. No problem but it was ages ago.

It is good to use, with practice, but the equivelant of the cloning tool sucks. It really is crap, so other editing suites are still needed.

I got mine on a special deal from Park Cameras a couple of years ago when I got a D3s. Its neat software, with a decent manual. easy to use and version updates are no problem.

It's a great program but a shame that it's not better covered in a supposedly Nikon based magazine.
I would love to learn more but apparentltly Adobe RAW and Photoshop is the way to go......

I really like NX2. I am using it with the Nik Color Efex 3.0 plug-in for NX2.

I am hoping that Nikon will bring out a new version that is compatible with Nik Color Efex 4., which I am currently using with Elements 10. Version 4 is far supeior to version 3.
