I think I've got my entry, but as usual, if I get a better one tomorrow I may change :-)

I wondered for a time whether this one would be better, but decided on the colour one. I think it may have more appeal.

Yes the colour one brings out more detail, the lines and the general beauty of the vehicle.

Got mine in, no snow up here, just rain all day. Managed to get outside around 1600hrs, when the rain finally let up.

May change my entry if another presents itself. Gutted I missed a cracker yesterday, just driving up the farm track to the Cottage and noticed the tractor towing a bailer/threshing machine and it was when the sun was just setting, so gorgeous light catching the machinery....ahh the one that got away!

Pity you missed the shot!

Now how did I get the idea in my head, you were somehow getting a horse, or horses in the picture?

Weatherwise, It was deliciously cold here today with a grey sky. I went 'props' hunting in charity shops, clad in several layers of wool, topped with one of those Russian fur hats with earflaps. I was warm as toast and perfectly happy. (I love a good, real winter!)

I hoped the grey skies would deliver snow, but sadly, it has been raining for hours! Bye bye promised winter!

Thanks Dave Wavemachine abd Matthew, for your seal of approval for my colour shot.

I'm beginning to think that the colour version of the black and white one, might be better anyway. It has a high contrast between the light and darker sections though, and I was afraid the contrast is too great, with part of the shot washed out. I may upload it later.
Won't change my entry though.

Husbands, and especially veterans, are much more important!

Hope he will be well again soon.
