Nice picture but you should seriously consider dropping the frame from the shot

Not sure its as sharp as it could be. TheD of F is loosing some of the detail in the crystals.Imagine this backlit with low winter son. Would be awesome (but hard to capture before meltdown).

I guess the lower res image has led to the loss of some detail. Maybe the higher res version of the image, that can be viewed here, may add a bit more detail to the image.

Capturing it with the low winter sun would be pretty cool but then again, as you very rightly said, there's the fear of it melting away as frost doesn't seem to last very long once the rays of the sun start beating down on it...
