Mark, that is a well extended blush!

I hope you didn't have to go to bed still blushing! What would the wife think? What did she think?

congrats to reinardina

my ups and downs

ups
food glorious food-sorry but i think there is too much to look at and you cant make out what the background circle is, although you did hit the theme on the head numerous times (nd them biscuits look tasty hmmmm)

downs
queen of hearts-my vote went to this 1 as i was impressed with the way it works and am going to have to try this effect in the near future

others i liked were sphere of flowers and shiny things oh and ferrero rochers(well who doesnt like them )

So well done once again to Reinardinia on a great win, I really liked your shot but not as much as Pea24's which got my vote, very simple, colourful and reminded me of a load of tiddlywinks so got my vote

I have done my up

Down - Kebsides - Cartridges

Really nice idea, nice shot and bang on theme (no pun intended) I liked the composition and angle, nice idea to combine it with last weeks theme, there is great sharp detail in the back of he cartridges but especially in the bottom right the colour seems to have been lost of the cartridge shafts so possible a bit overexposed.

Well done everyone on pulling out some great entries and different takes on the theme.

Thanks to Jerry WSL, pea24 for keeping me out of the land of the nillies

Thank you to kerbside for my crit, I did prefer my original entry as well having looked back at it just fancied trying a fish eye effect

Yes. When I looked at the entry thread it was still there so I went with something else.

I voted for the shiny things.

Above: Cézanne Circle - Reinardina
Cracking shot and wonderful treatment. I guess it didn't shout out 'circle' to me and that's the only reason it didn't get my vote. I thought the tones and texture were stunning and it's the best example of photographing glass that I've seen on here. Well done.

This really struck a chord with me and the use of the fisheye added an original twist. The exposure was spot on with a great sky and good lights. My only wish would have been to have the green lght lit as well ;-). But, it still kept my interest and got my vote. Lidl never looked so good. Nicely done Dave.

Thanks for my votes jimmyosram, kerbside, Reinardina, wavemachine and wodm. I was really pleased with the clarity of the shot, so I'm glad you liked it too.

Dave, Cartridges were clear that's the reason why.

A nice picture of muffins which perfectly fits with the theme being circles, nice and sharp, the only thing I thought negative about the picture is to me, theres a bit of an orangey colour cast-like your white balance is off a bit?

Nice picture, very good use of DoF, fits well with the theme, no bad points but you have reflections on the balls which maybe you wanted, but I'd of gotten rid of them, by using a light tent because shiny stuff is difficult to PP.

Had to vote for Reinardina again-i like the rustic colours and feel to your photo, I really like your developing style.

Very nearly voted for Ogri1st, I like the bright eye-catchiness of your picture but the only reason i didn't vote is that there is some dust or dirt/marks on the background in a couple of places which to me spoils all your efforts coz they're so easy to remove from a white background!

Everyone did really good and all had circles in some way!
