I won't be in on this one, which is a shame, because I'd like to give it a bash. But I pick-up the house keys tomorrow and we are starting the big move.....mind you, I gotta go pick up a big van on Saturday for our larger bits and pieces and if it's white and we get the snow as forecast, I may get a cheeky shot in.

HAHA Matthew, like your take on the theme and the comments that followed. Maybe you should start a caption thread for it.

Eysha, great to see you pop in. Hope you had a fab new year and join us again soon.

I was thinking exactly that!

Good luck with the move!

I've only tried high key once, but in that case it was very simple, just manipulate the levels. Maybe you will manage a shot and can manipulate it while you have your well deserved beer/single malt/tea, whatever. And I'm not in it, so you don't have to be afraid of my comments!

Hope you and Tammy will be very happy in your cottage!

For true high key, you really need a studio as its all about lighting, but you can use photoshop to create the same effect.

I'm gonna have fun with this theme and I think it's something I know about (for a change). And I might get to use my new off camera flash that ain't had an airing yet.

Just finished my monthly comp entry which was something I knew nothing about and have been in tears over it, but got there in the end!!!! Love the final result! I'm about to post it in the chat thread to see what people think first.

We miss you and would love to see you back. Come the better weather maybe we can go out with the cameras again soon. Remember the poppies?

I also have a MacPro with FULL photoshop so no more fiddling about on a stupid little netbook. It was a bargain...Paul 's (son's) boss replaced some MacPro's and Paul got an old one (9 years old..lol) with full PS for £150.00!! It's an excellent machine and was actually used to edit episodes of Byker Grove on! There ya go..lol

Best £150.00 I have ever spent.
