Post Newbie here

Thanks for this piece of info as I found it very useful, however it was not until I had done quite a bit of search could I really find out how to write onto a forum thread. As a Newbie I have seen that most images are watermark free and again I have posted three images with a low res watermark. Can any one suggest the best way for me to put work up? I am sorry if this does not follow any thread , but I feel at little bit out of my depth as "a Junior member"

Hi - You can no longer create albums as this was difficult for us to manage. You can choose from the albums that currently exist, or you can suggest a new album for us to create.

Help

Hi, I'm having trouble uploading an image for the photo competition, it keeps saying that my file is invalid. I'm only trying to upload a JPEG and can't see how the file is not suitable. The message I get simply says invalid file, so I'm not sure what I need to change in order to be able to upload it. Any ideas?

Thanks!

One thing to keep an eye on is the file size I think the max size is 2MB but I had problems with files over 1MB , the error message is the same no matter what the problem is .

Thanks

Thank you Mark! I tried not to decrease the file size too much so as to keep the quality of the file high for the competition, didn't realise I'd have to decrease it so much!

Thanks for your help

When I resize my images for this site from photoshop I leave the resolution alone and adjust the pixel width to 900 making sure the constrain proportions box is checked this will set the pixel height automatically , I set it to 900 because that seems to be the max width that the site will show no matter what size you upload .

Can you tell us how you resize your images at the moment because I just had a look at your gallery and I can see what you mean about the sky .
