Pea, this is the type of effect I have been working on for my college project. Did you see any particular photo that sparked your idea?

I have been looking at how different substances on the face can change the features (i.e. the mud pack I have used fr my entry). I also tried wet fabric, a peel off face mask and .a sheer stocking I also wanted to try thick, whipped cream or shaving foam but didn't get the chance. What have you used?

I don't normally frequent the competition threads as I never have time to get involved but I must say the standard of entries this time is very high and very inventive on all the self-portraits, well done!

Pea, is this how you looked, when your feet touched the ground again?
It must have been agony!

Thanks Cathus, I agree too. The standard is high and voting will be hard.

I used flour - very dusty! I've seen it done a few times on flickr and in mags so I thought I'd give it a go. I think I needed to do it in a location I can throw it about a bit :-)
