Lee 105mm Circular Polariser

Hi

I'm thinking of buying a Lee 105mm circular polariser kit but want to know if these work fine with wide angle lens? Currently I use a 7d and shoot a lot at 10mm but am looking to upgrade to a 5D and 17-40mm lens, is this likely to cause me vignetting problems or am I better off getting a thin 77mm polariser to screw on before I add the Lee system? Any advice is welcome...

Or would the heliopan 105mm polariser be a better bet with the Lee system as it is thinner...

The 105 should be ok. I cannot speak from experience though. I do know that you do not want to put the polarizer on first as you will have not be able to adjust it and the square filters at the same time. At least not without great difficulty. I am not sure you can even do it, my polarizer (Hoya Pro) does not have threads to mount anything else to it.
