No wire, but no sophisticated TTL flash metering without the wire. Reading wavemachine's link, it seems the Jessops flash will pick up on pre-flashes from your on-board flash and fire too early. I don't know enough about Canon flash to know if you can get around that.

Might just go in to see them tomorrow, talk about it. Still think my LCD isn't lighting up properly so can kill 2 birds with 1 flash!

Let me know how you get on Chris. I just got a Nissin and it looks really good. I don't have a clue how to use it yet though.

Haha join the club! I tried the Jessops one and just couldn't fathom it, but didn't think it was working properly. Not expecting mine till 1st week or even into second week of jan. Can't wait.

Did you buy the same model as me, the Di 622?

Yes I did. I had my eye on it for ages. I've got to do a photo shoot with a load of ballet student at my daughters dance school so I thought I better get a second flash. I tried it with the 60D tonight on wireless mode and it worked fine although I really need to RTFM.
